Vegan Churro Scones
These scones are a great vegan take on traditional churros. They are soft on the inside, crunchy on the outside, and full of chocolate chips. This is a great sweet breakfast or snack. Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour 1/3 cup granulated sugar 1 tablespoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup vegan butter, cold and cubed 1/2 cup non-dairy milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon Instructions: Warm the oven up to 400F 200C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl with a whisk Mix in the vegan butter cubes that have been kept cold You can use a pastry cutter or your hands to make the dough crumbly Put in the vanilla extract and non-dairy milk, and mix them in until the dough comes together
