Finding Nemo Book Cake Cupcakes



Fans of the popular movie will love these cute Finding Nemo Book Cake Cupcakes. The cupcakes are decorated to look like the famous book cover with all of your favorite fishy characters on it.

Ingredients:
  • 1 box of your favorite cupcake mix
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • Blue food coloring
  • 1 batch of buttercream frosting blue
  • Fish-shaped gummy candies
  • Edible black food marker
  • Edible fish-shaped decorations optional

Instructions:

Warm your oven up to the temperature written on the box of cupcake mix

Take cupcake liners and line a cupcake tray with them

Put the cupcake mix, vegetable oil, eggs, and water in a mixing bowl

Mix the batter well until it's smooth

Until the batter is the right shade of blue, like the ocean, add blue food coloring until you get it

Fill up each cupcake liner about two thirds of the way to the top with blue cupcake batter

Follow the directions on the box of cupcake mix for baking in a hot oven

It should take about 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the cupcakes comes out clean

On a wire rack, let the cupcakes cool all the way down

With a piping bag, frost the cupcakes with the blue buttercream frosting after they have cooled

This will make the top smooth

On top of each cupcake, put a fish-shaped gummy candy

Draw the title, author, and fish characters from the "Finding Nemo" book cover on the gummy candies with a black food marker that can be eaten

You could add some extra flair by decorating with edible fish-shaped decorations

Now your Finding Nemo Book Cake Cupcakes are ready to make your guests happy
