Pecan Crusted Bacon
Pecan Crusted Bacon is a delightful combination of smoky bacon, crunchy pecans, and a touch of sweetness from maple syrup. It's the perfect appetizer or snack for bacon lovers.
Ingredients:
- 12 slices of thick-cut bacon
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
Instructions:
Set the oven temperature to 375F 190C
Chopped pecans, brown sugar, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper should all be combined in a shallow bowl
Blend thoroughly
Apply a thin layer of maple syrup to both sides of every bacon slice
Make sure the pecans adhere to both sides of the bacon by pressing each slice of bacon coated in maple syrup into the pecan mixture
Arrange the bacon slices with pecan crust on a wire rack set over a baking sheet
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the pecans are toasted, in a preheated oven
Before serving, take out of the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes
