Root Beer Pulled Pork Sandwiches

Ingredients:
- 3 lbs pork shoulder, trimmed and cubed
- 1 cup root beer
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 hamburger buns
- Coleslaw for topping optional
Instructions:
Place the cubed pork shoulder in the crockpot
In a bowl, mix root beer, barbecue sauce, chopped onion, minced garlic, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper
Pour the sauce mixture over the pork in the crockpot, ensuring the meat is well coated
