Vegan Peanut Butter Cup Baked Buttermilk Donuts



Enjoy the delicious combination of chocolate, peanut butter, and soft, moist donuts. You can satisfy your sweet tooth with these vegan treats that don't contain any animal products.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cane sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup vegan butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped vegan peanut butter cups

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350F 175C and grease a donut pan

In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda

In another bowl, mix almond milk, melted vegan butter, peanut butter, apple cider vinegar, and vanilla extract

Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined

Fold in vegan chocolate chips and chopped peanut butter cups

Transfer batter into a piping bag or ziplock bag and pipe into the prepared donut pan

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean

Allow donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely
